Worla Kay, born Wilbert Worlane Kwame Khorbs in 2001, was born and raised in Accra, Ghana. He attended Crown Prince Academy and Labone Senior High School before graduating from the University of Ghana, Legon. His early exposure to music and influences from artists like R. Kelly, Jeremih, Chris Brown, August Alsina, Big Sean, and Jhené Aiko shaped his sound and songwriting style.
Worla Kay began his music journey in 2019, working independently to develop a style rooted in Afrobeats, hiplife, hip-hop, and R&B. His music reflects personal experiences, delivered through melody and storytelling.
He continues to grow his presence through consistent releases and evolving sound.
