Éric Bosiki, born Erickson Le Zulu, was a talented Ivorian DJ and singer. At 9 years old, he began singing in church with his mother. He later joined the world of DJs in Côte d'Ivoire and became popular for his performances at a local establishment. In 2006, he was awarded Male Performer of the Year at the RTI Music Awards. Erickson released popular tracks including "Hurricane," "Susanna," "Glory," and "Hand of God". Unfortunately, he passed away in 2020 due to illness

    Alhaja Batile Alake was a renowned Waka musician from Ogun State, Nigeria. Her musical career commenced in 1954 when she began her journey as an apprentice under Kaletin Soye, the leader of the Alasatu group. She also served as one of Soye's backup singers in Ijebu Ode. Alhaja Batile Alake adopted the chanting mode known as Rara, a genre typically associated with Yoruba women. Notably, Alhaja Batile Alake made history as the first Waka musician to produce an album. In 1956, she established her music group, contributing significantly to the popularization of the Waka genre during the 1950s and 1960s, and this was her most active years. Unfortunately, she passed away in August 2013.
