Bio
A-Q, born Gilbert Bani, is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter. He started writing lyrics at a young age, signed his first record deal in 2001 with Big Leaf Records, and released his first single, "(W)rap Nigeria", in 2004. A-Q took a break from music to finish his education and returned in 2010 with a record label, Hustle Inc. He's won multiple awards for his music. A-Q left Chocolate City record label in 2020 and set up a music incubator for African artists.
