Award-winning South African rapper-songwriter and sound engineer, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, professionally known as AKA, began exploring music by co-founding a Hip hop group, Entity with two other friends. The group later split and shortly after, AKA co-founded another group, I.V. League, with two other friends while he pursued a solo career in music. His first three singles were springboards for his career. Sadly, AKA was killed with his friend, Tibz, in a drive by shooting in Durban, South Africa.
