She started her music journey as a chorister with the Acikongo Orchestra in 1984 and fulfilled her dream of joining TP Audiorama in 1985. In 1996, she released her debut album "Ayela 1" and adopted the stage name Joëlle Séka. Her fourth album, "Prends-moi C'l'amour," brought her widespread fame in Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Mali in 2002, earning her the prestigious Golden Top award. Joëlle C gave her first live concert in July 2006 at the Palais de la Culture. Tragically, she passed away on February 14, 2008, due to kidney failure, but her musical contributions continue to inspire fans worldwide.
