Agatha Asiimwe Kafooko is a Ugandan singer, producer, and radio presenter known for her inspiring fusion of gospel, Afrobeat, country, and Western Ugandan folk. folk. Born in Entebbe and later based in Mbarara, she first trained in catering before releasing her debut single “Coming to Life” in 2001. Her 2005 breakout hit “Heartbreaker” earned her a PAM Award nomination and led to her debut album of the same name. In 2007, she followed with Kabekache, expanding her reach with songs in Luganda, English, and Runyankole. Married to Fred Kafooko and a mother of four, Agatha also built a successful career in radio, running a gospel show and inspiring audiences with music rooted in conviction, family, and faith.
