By age seven, Ali Angel was already drumming his way into music’s core. Born Alirio Rojas Fanon on August 28, 1974, in Mexico to a Venezuelan father and Martiniquais mother, he was raised in the Caribbean, immersed in rich Afro-Caribbean styles. In 1991, he launched Théorem’ in Fort-de-France, releasing their first album by 1994 and touring France and the Antilles. He earned a SACEM award in 1998 for writing "Lombraj an Pyé Mango," then built his own label and studio that same year. His 1999 debut "Ali at Home…" kicked off a solo career marked by creative production. With albums like "Angel" and "Hit Me Again," he became a key producer, shaping the Zouk space and lifting countless artists into the spotlight.
