BioAlicia Keys is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress. She began playing piano at the age of 7 and later attended the Professional Performing Arts School in New York. In 2001, she released her debut album, "Songs in A Minor," which sold over 12 million copies worldwide and earned her five Grammy Awards. Keys has released several albums, appeared in films, and is known for her philanthropic work and activism, particularly in the areas of HIV/AIDS awareness and education.
