Though he began his music career in the 1950s, Osadebe formed his band, the Sound Makers International, in the mid 60s.
He released over 70 albums during his career with notable hits.
Osadebe's music combined traditional Igbo music with highlife, jazz, and other styles and often featured social commentary.
Although he passed away in 2007, his legacy as a pioneer of Nigerian highlife music remains.
