Aramide Sarumoh, professionally known as Aramide, is a multi award-winning Nigerian Afro-Soul singer and songwriter. In 2015, Aramide released her debut single "Iwo Nikan" which became a major hit and a breakthrough for her and her record label. That same year, Aramide won the Best Vocal Performance (Female) award for the song at the 2015 Headies, a prestigious music award. She was appointed the Board of Governors for the Washington D.C. chapter of the Recording Academy, a significant milestone in her career.
