Ayaka Ozubulu, whose real name is Chigozie Obunike, is a revered Igbo highlife singer and songwriter hailing from Nigeria. Considered by many as the best Igbo highlife musician of the 21st century, Ayaka is a pillar of Igbo highlife for his generation. He has been active in the music industry since 2009, and is the leader of the Bright Star Band. Ayaka's lyrics touch on socio-political issues, reflecting his belief in music as a tool for social commentary and positive change.
