BioAzaya, whose real name is Mamady Kamissoko, is a Guinean bassist, songwriter, and singer born in Kankan, Guinean. He was introduced to music by his great-granduncle as a toddler. He further received musical tutelage from prominent Guinean musical stars, where he served as a bassist, backup singer, and songwriter. From 2013 to 2014, he decided to go solo, launched his music label, and released his debut album 'Gnenessouma' which propelled him into stardom.
