Baaba Maal is a Grammy-nominated Senegalese musician. He is considered one of the most influential African musicians of all time and has released over 15 albums. He is known for his fusion of music from his native Senegal with a range of other genres, including folk, reggae, rock, and electronic music. He has collaborated with many international superstars, including Bono, Peter Gabriel, and Youssou N'Dour. Maal is a passionate advocate for the preservation of African culture and traditional music.
