Baba Fryo, born Friday Igwe, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, and actor. Baba Fryo rose to fame in the early 1990s with his unique style of music, which blended reggae with highlife and other Nigerian music genres. He released his first album, "Denge Pose," in 1994, which became a commercial success. Baba Fryo has acted in Nollywood movies and is considered one of the pioneers of Nigerian street music. He has inspired many Nigerian musicians and remains a significant figure in the Nigerian music industry.
