Yusuf Olatunji, better known by his stage name Baba Legba, was a Nigerian recording artist, credited with popularizing the Sakara musical genre. With the release of his first record in 1937, Olatunji began his musical career. He was well-liked by the wealthy and powerful in the southwest region of Nigeria, and he frequently sang praise songs for various elite social groups. Olatunji produced a number of CDs over his career and wrote numerous songs in the Sakara style.
