Mohamed Salah Balti, best known by his stage name Balti, is a well-known Tunisian rapper, singer, composer, and the brainchild behind the band X-tension. He began his career as a musician with the band Wled Bled, working with well-known musicians of the day. He gained widespread fame in 2002 after releasing his unofficial debut album in collaboration with DJ Danjer and has since remained among Tunisia's top-rated artists.
