Bio
Barick, born Eric Bapfakurera Fabrice in Kigali, is a Rwandan music producer and founder of Barick Music Creation Group (BMCG). With roots in classical training from Ndera Seminary, where he first touched piano and organ, his journey into music began early and never lost momentum. Influenced by the sounds of Michael Jackson, he evolved from band rehearsals at school to mastering production tools like Cubase and Logic. His academic path led him from Rwanda to Portugal and Belgium, where he studied biochemistry while continuing to nurture his craft. A global performer, Barick appeared as a DJ at the 2005 World Expo in Japan before returning home to launch BMCG in 2011. Today, the label develops rising talent and offers creative services in music production, management, and branding. A quiet force in Rwanda’s music scene, Barick blends skill, vision, and experience to shape the sound of tomorrow.
