BioBasetsana Maluleka, popularly known as Bassie, is an up-and-coming vocalist and musician hailing from South Africa. She discovered her passion for singing at a tender age and later transitioned from being a cheerleader at 12 to becoming a dedicated conductor during her high school years. Bassie made a significant breakthrough in 2018 when she gained recognition in the house/amapiano genre through her debut featured single "Qaphela" by Dj Sjijo. In 2020, she achieved a major milestone by recording her first chart-topping single "Bathandwa" with MFR Souls, leading her to sign with the independent record label "Aurora Black". Bassie has collaborated with various artists and has ambitious plans to continue collaborating with more musicians in the future.
