Bentho Gustave "Titiou" is a Beninese bassist and composer who gained fame as a former member of the legendary T.P. Orchestre Poly-Rythmo. He began his musical career in the 1960s as a member of the Super Star de Ouidah band before co-founding the Poly-Rhythmo de Cotonou orchestra in 1968. Titiou is a talented composer, guitarist, and bass player, and his contributions to the band's music helped to shape its unique sound. In 1978, Titiou recorded his only solo album "Le Disque D'Or", with evergreen singles such as "Agnon Djidjo" and "Gbê Sou Vê Gnin" showcasing his exceptional talent as a musician. His music is a unique fusion of Latin, folk, Afro-Cuban, and reggae.
