His love for music began very early and he'd lose track of time banging on pots and pans while grooving to American soul and R&B legends and went on to join school band as a child, to showcase his remarkable talent.
Bruce's greatest inspirations came from American jazz fusion pioneers such as Billy Cobham, Herbie Hancock, and Tony Williams. Later in his career, he played a pivotal role in Manu Dibango's and Salif Keita's bands, leaving an indelible mark on African music.
