BioBeverley Kelso is a prominent Jamaica reggae artist.
She is best known for being an early member of the influential reggae group, The Wailers.
Kelso was a backing vocalist and one of the founding members of the group.
During her time with The Wailers from 1963 to 1965, Kelso sang on 25 of the group's tracks.
Despite her contributions to the band's early success, Kelso left The Wailers in 1965 to pursue other interests.
Over the years, Kelso has remained connected to her musical roots and her time with The Wailers.
In 2012, she announced plans to write a book about her experiences with the band.
Sadly, Kelso is now the only surviving founding member of The Wailers, following the deaths of her founding band members.
