Bhudaza Mapefane is an acclaimed South African jazz artist, saxophonist, and pianist. He cultivated a deep love for jazz from a young age and eventually received formal piano lessons when he was 21. His career commenced in 1985, performing with the Jazz Combo and expanding his musical prowess under the mentorship of accomplished musicians. Bhudaza's academic journey led him to study jazz at the University of Cape Town, where he performed with the Sunshine Band.
