Muazu Adamu, professionally known as Black Fab and widely called his cultural alias Egwu, is a Nigerian Afro-hip-hop artist and entrepreneur of Igala descent.
Born in the military barracks of Kaduna and a native of Ankpa, Kogi State, his identity draws from culture, spirituality, and street awareness. Egwu, meaning Masquerade in Igala, defines his role as a cultural messenger through music.
Raised between Lagos and Abuja, Black Fab absorbed varied influences shaping his sound. He attended Awodiora Olodo Apapa and GSS Karu Abuja, later studying Political Science at Kogi State University.
In 2007, he began recording at Goshen Studio, Abuja, setting the base for growth, later gaining attention in 2009 with "Sip Bottle" featuring Terry G.His catalogue includes "Ukpokpu," "Pray for Me" with Patoranking and Ycee, "Good Morning Africa," "Oyoyo" with TML Vibes, and "I Like Am."
Beyond music, Black Fab is the CEO of Sound Yard, and founder of We Are Kogites (WAKOGITES).
