BioBrahim Izri, an activist from Algeria who also played the guitar and sang traditional Achewiq songs. He originally became interested in music while listening to religious music with his grandfather. As a teenager he formed a music group with his friends which they called "Igudar" translated as "the eagles" before going to serve as a guitarist for Idir. Few years later Brahim started out his solo career and released his debut album "Sacrifice of a child" in 1981.
