Bio
Siphiwe Mpamile, known by his stage name Brown Dash, was not just another Kwaito artist but a true fairy tale. He gained recognition for singing alongside the masked artist Mzekezeke on the double platinum debut album, performing the hit single "Sguqa Ngamadolo" in 2002. Despite criticism from some music critics who dismissed the album as nonsense, it sold over 100,000 copies, outselling many respected artists. Additionally, the album was nominated for Best Kwaito Album at the 9th South African Music Awards. Before that, Brown Dash played a significant role in Mapaputsi's award-winning album, Izinja. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2012 at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
