Elizabeth Maria Magdalena van Zyl, with the stage moniker Carike Keuzenkamp, is a versatile South African artist, Afrikaans singer, actor, children's performer, and the former host of South Africa's inaugural Kiddies TV show. Carike made her entrance into the entertainment industry in 1967 and has maintained an active presence ever since. Throughout her career, she has graced audiences with several hit songs, including classics like "Timothy," "Byeboerwa," "Hoeka Toeka," and "Dis ‘Nand."
