Carl Wegelin is a guitarist who played a pivotal role in the South African rock band Plush, co-founder of the South African afro-pop band JacSharp, and CEO of The Whisky Rebellion. Transitioning from engineering studies at the University of Cape Town, he embarked on his musical journey, where he contributed as a vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter for both Plush and JacSharp. Following Plush's disbandment, Carl ventured into new projects, eventually returning to his wine farm roots by establishing his company, The Whisky Rebellion, a Bespoke boutique spirits tasting company.
