Carlton "Santa" Davis is a professional drummer, producer, arranger and songwriter from Jamaica. His musical versatility extends across a spectrum of genres and styles, including ska, calypso, rock, and jazz.
Santa Davis's musical journey began at the age of 10 when he embarked on his drumming odyssey as a member of his church band and later, joined the nightclub band "Kofi Kali and the Graduates,".
His illustrious career features notable contributions to renowned bands such as Bob Marley & The Wailers, The Aggrovators, Soul Syndicate, and Roots Radics.Notably, he holds the distinction of being the first drummer to record at Jamaica's Studio One Records. His talent has also earned him the esteemed position of being the official drummer for Ziggy Marley.
