Charlotte Mbango Samè, a Cameroonian Makossa singer of great renown, hailed from a family of musicians with close ties to Eboa Lotin, a prominent figure in Cameroonian music. Having been immersed in music from a young age, she embarked on a successful career in the industry, earning fame for her unique blend of traditional rhythms and contemporary sounds that struck a chord with audiences of all backgrounds. Her body of work included several chart-topping albums, and she was recognized with numerous accolades, including a Gold record. Tragically, Mbango passed away on June 2, 2009, in Paris, France, at the age of 49, but her artistic legacy endures, and she continues to be revered as one of Cameroon's most beloved and influential musicians
