Bio
Cheb Hasni, whose real name is Hasni Chakroun, was an Algerian Raï singer known for his popular love songs, his powerful voice, and his controversial lyrics. From a young age, he had a passion for singing and performed at local events. He reached the height of his career in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when millions of copies of his songs were sold. Unfortunately, his career was cut short when he was murdered in 1994.
