Bio
Cheick Amadou Tidiane Seck is a prominent Malian musician, arranger, and composer known for his mastery of African music, jazz, and South African jazz. His musical journey traces back to the early 1970s, when he was a vital part of the immensely successful Rail Band du Buffet Hotel de la Gare in Mali. Throughout the late 1970s and well into the 1980s, he continued his musical odyssey, notably collaborating with Salif Keita. This partnership flourished both in the renowned Les Ambassadeurs and various solo projects of Keita's, including the highly successful and influential album "Soro." Seck's collaborative spirit extended beyond Keita, as he worked alongside a multitude of other artists. His contributions to the world of music have left an enduring mark.
