Emeka U. Osadebe, better known as Nwa Osadebe or Chief Mecon, is a legendary Nigerian highlife singer, entertainer and producer domiciled in the South Eastern part of Nigeria. Osadebe's music is rooted in the traditional Igbo rhythms and melodies, but he also incorporated elements of jazz, swing, and other Western musical styles. His innovative sound and captivating stage presence made him one of the most popular musicians in eastern Nigeria.
