Coenie de Villiers, with the full name Coenraad Grabe de Villiers, is a multi-award-winning South African singer-songwriter, classically trained pianist, pop musician, radio DJ, TV presenter, and advertising executive. In 1983, he launched his music career with Mountain Records, debuting with "Skoppensboer." He has also collaborated with renowned artists like Dutch singer Herman van Veen. Throughout his career, he's produced nearly 20 albums, earning prestigious recognition like three SAMA awards, two VONK awards, a Geraas award for songwriting excellence, and the Centenary Medal of Honor from the South African Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2009. Notably, in his repertoire, he serves as a patron for MES, an organization dedicated to aiding homeless and street children in Johannesburg.
