D'banj, born Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and harmonica player. He gained fame in the mid-2000s with his hit single "Tongolo" and has since released successful albums and singles. D'banj's music blends Afrobeats and Nigerian highlife, and he is known for his lively performances. He has won multiple awards, including MTV Africa Music Awards and a BET Award. In addition to his music career, D'banj is an entrepreneur and philanthropist, involved in various social and humanitarian causes.
