Edwin Ochieno, professionally known as DJ Edu, is a Nairobi-born and raised talent celebrated for his expertise in DJing, radio presenting, and music production. His journey to prominence began in Kenya, where he established himself as a versatile artist before gaining international recognition. Notably, he serves as the exclusive anchor for BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1Xtra's DNA show, playing a crucial role in the global promotion of African music. Beyond the airwaves, he contributes to Arise Magazine and curates African mixes for Emirates Airlines. With a decade-long stint as a promoter, and currently based in the UK, he works on the African TV show "Destination Africa" for the UK and Europe and a video mix for Channel O in Africa.
