With a passion for music, he left university to pursue his dream, gaining recognition with the hit single "Eni Duro" (2010), followed by the release of his debut album, "Rapsodi," in 2011, marking the beginning of a prolific career backed by numerous albums and hit tracks.
He has received a good deal of recognition, including multiple wins at the Headies Awards, the BET Awards, and the MTV Africa Music Awards, as well as a Grammy nomination in 2024 for his feature in "Amapiano" by Asake.
Known for his innovative use of Yoruba in his lyrics, he is known to have pioneered "street hop" music in Nigeria.
