Da Grin, born Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, was a Nigerian rapper who gained national recognition with his unique blend of Yoruba, pidgin English, and English in his lyrics. His critically acclaimed album, "C.E.O", released in 2009, featured hit singles like "Pon Pon Pon" and "Ghetto Dream" and heavily-influenced Nigerian pop culture. Tragically, he died in a car accident in 2010, just as he was rising to the peak of his music career. Despite his short time in the industry, he left an indelible mark.
