Sir Jerry OshiorenuaNigeria |1955| YekheeSir Jerry Oshiorenua was a legendary musician and pioneer of the Afemai music band, born in 1955 in Uzairue community to the Oshiorenua family.
He attended Ikpomaza secondary school in Okpella where he met his wife from the same community.
Sir Jerry was well-known for his music label titled Afeghe, iyeluweme, okpa ikebe, and others, with over 250 record albums to his credit.
He was the first musician in Etsako to obtain a master's degree. Sir Jerry passed away on May 20, 2012, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the Nigerian music industry.
His son, Augustine Oshiorenua, continues the family legacy. Sir Jerry's contributions to Afemai music have inspired many, and he is remembered as a mentor and legendary icon in the industry.
