Bio

Dayo Kujore, a veteran Nigerian juju musician, whose real name doubled as his music sobriquet was a composer, and bandleader. Though his parents were clerics, Kujore got introduced to music by travelling Juju artists that came to his village to perform and invited him to join them. He took hold of the opportunity and began his music career. Kujore performed with various music bands before going solo. He had a largely successful music career until his demise after a brief illness in 2022.
