Dikeledi Mathibela is a South African singer, dancer, and percussionist and an active member of the all-women dance and drum band Abafazi Bengoma Original. Her musical journey began at the young age of 9 when she became a member of a gospel choir. Joining Amakhono Wesintu in 1998, she traveled to Reunion Island and toured European countries with the Art Ensemble of Chicago in 2000. Experienced in Zulu, Tswana, and various dances, she joined Drum Struck in 2001, performing globally. Her diverse career includes collaborations with Busi Mhlongo and Oliver Mtukudzi and engagements in Broadway, New York, and the FIFA World Cup.
