Mercy MyraKenya |1920| EnglishMercy Myra Grundberg, known by her moniker Mercy Myra, is a prominent R&B singer and songwriter from Kenya who gained popularity in the 1990s. Initially part of the Kalabash Band from 1994 to 1997, she later joined Destinee and Black Ice. Deciding to pursue a solo career in 1998, she unveiled her debut single, "Sitaki," in 2001, featuring Kenyan hip-hop duo K-South.
Over the years, Mercy Myra has performed on international stages, including the 2004 Zanzibar International Film Festival and the Festival Mundial in Tilburg, the Netherlands, in 2002 and 2003.
