Djavan Caetano Viana, known professionally as Djavan, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and guitarist known for blending MPB, Samba, and Jazz in his music. He began his career in the 1970s, released over 20 albums, and is considered one of the most important MPB artists in Brazil. He's won several awards including the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. Djavan has performed at international music festivals and collaborated with other renowned artists. His music is known for its poetic lyrics.
