BioMacDonald Kemonah (formerly known as MacDonald Amaechi), who goes by the stage name Don Kemonah, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter. With a rich musical history, he was a former member of Koola Lobitos and the Don Isaac Ezekiel (D.I.E) Combination Band. In the 1970s, after the D.I.E. Band split, Don relocated to London, where he became a part of the band Shakatu. During his time in London, he collaborated with prominent musicians, including Al Anderson, Bob Marley's renowned guitar player, and Remi Kabaka. His contributions to Island Records, working alongside these celebrated artists, helped solidify his presence in the industry.
