Born Okeowo Oladotun Alani on July 20, 1994, in Ibadan, he moved to Lagos to live with his grandparents. Music found him early; at six, he composed his first song at his grandfather’s dining table. He earned a National Diploma in Music Technology from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, in 2013.
DOTTi’s “Nu Age Folk” blends Nigerian folk, Yoruba cosmology, Soul, and Jazz.
