Dounia Batma, a renowned Moroccan singer and actress, developed a passion for music at a young age and pursued it ardently. In 2012, she achieved widespread recognition as the second-place winner of the inaugural season of Arab Idol, the Arabic edition of Pop Idol, which aired on MBC. Although she narrowly missed out on the championship to Egyptian rival Carmen Suleiman, Batma's performances on the show catapulted her to the status of a rising star in the music industry. Subsequently, Batma released numerous chart-topping albums and singles such as "Wala Fakhbaro"," Mariage" and "Badri". She also ventured into acting, featuring in several Moroccan films and television series. Dounia remains an adored personality in the Moroccan entertainment scene, continuing to compose and perform music.
