Dooyum Kingsley Abaa, also known as Drakare, is a Nigerian Christian rapper, music producer, and DJ from Benue State. Drakare’s music ministry has brought his powerful sound and message of faith to millions. With a career in hip-hop that began in 2009, he began to focus on faith-based music after a miraculous healing from asthma in 2011. His songs are deeply personal, reflective of his struggles, and a testament to his firm belief in God. He has received many awards, including a 2021 Rapzilla nomination for Best African Gospel Artist, and inspires many through his music and mentoring. In addition to his work, he has collaborated with other artists on multiple projects, including “Little Things Matter” and “Demigod.” All of his projects are available to stream, and he is currently working on new songs to share with his devoted fans.
