Williams Olorunleke Oladejo, professionally known as Drimi, is a Nigerian artist using music as a gateway into emotion, memory, and sociopolitical reflection. His sound speaks to community struggles, African realities, and the belief that forgotten history is bound to repeat itself. Music became part of his life early. At seven, he began writing songs, inspired by melodies that came to him effortlessly, even in his Yoruba dialect.
Drimi’s journey officially took shape in 2017, recording his first songs with limited resources but unlimited belief. His influences range from Burna Boy’s "Twice As Tall" to Rod Wave’s "PTSD" and Roddy Ricch’s "Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial," albums he connected with beyond sound alone.
His song "When You See Me" captures his essence best. It reflects his belief that music is more than entertainment. It is a portal to the soul and the unknown.
