Edward Kofi Donkor was a highly regarded Ghanaian highlife musician who formed the African Brothers Band in 1963 and later created his own group, Senior Eddie Donkor and The Asiko Internationals Band. He was known for his live performances and toured extensively, including in the United States. Donkor's music was primarily sung in Twi, with some songs featuring multiple languages. He passed away in 1995, leaving behind a legacy as a significant figure in the history of highlife music in Ghana.
