Born on March 25, 1983, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, Aghayedo Kelvins Eghosa, widely known by his stage name Eghe Nimose, is a versatile Nigerian singer, songwriter, producer, and rapper. He earned the nickname “RumbaDub Master” for his signature blend of Congolese rumba, reggae, and highlife, seamlessly fused with elements of Afrobeat and dub.
Eghe Nimose’s passion for music blossomed early. He played piano and bass guitar for local highlife bands in Upper Sokponba. After over two decades of honing his craft, he officially debuted in 2017. His 2022 album Edo Nimose, which highlighted West African highlife and Congolese rumba, cemented his place in the music scene.
Known for his multilingual artistry in Bini, French, Lingala, and English, Eghe Nimose draws inspiration from legends like Koffi Olomide and Fally Ipupa. Beyond music, he is a software developer and CEO of EntriFlex Technologies.
