    The Lijadu Sisters, Nigerian identical twin singers Taiwo (born 22 October 1948) and Kehinde (died 9 November 2019), created eclectic music blending Afrobeat, jazz, funk, and disco. With six albums and energetic live performances, they left a significant impact on Nigerian music history. In the late 1980s, they retired from the music scene. Kehinde passed away in 2019, but Taiwo continues to perform and record music, preserving their legacy.
